Description
Currently our market makers are entitled to the DMM rewards & Trade and Earn rewards. Since the Trade and Earn rewards are for traders we should exclude market makers from these rewards since they already are funded with the DMM rewards from the ecosystem fund.
This proposal will have a direct impact on the current pending rewards from the previous epoch and will result in excluding those rewards from the upcoming payout on February 2 as written in the governance forum.
This proposal was discussed on the governance forum and also a voting poll has been done in the governance channel. The results of the voting are 88% in favor of the proposal and 12% against the proposal.
