Description

Injective, as the premier purpose-built blockchain for finance, requires infrastructure that delivers exceptional performance to compete with traditional financial systems such as banks and Visa. This proposal recommends optimizing the validator network by prioritizing transaction activity through the top 50 validators, a change that would substantially reduce block times and accelerate transaction finality. The proposed implementation would establish a dynamic scoring system for validators based on uptime, performance metrics, and stake, allowing Injective to achieve vastly faster block times and significantly enhanced transaction throughput. These improvements directly support high-frequency financial applications while maintaining the network's fundamental security and decentralization principles. By implementing this strategic optimization, Injective positions itself to attract institutional partners who require guaranteed performance metrics and predictable confirmation times.
