Mainnet Infrastructure and Performance Upgrade
Details
Description
This proposal introduces the latest Injective mainnet application binary, delivering targeted optimizations across Injective's MultiVM infrastructure, core exchange module and network tooling. The upgrade enhances subaccount controls and refines position offset logic to ensure precise open interest accounting and consistent state transitions. On the EVM side, it expands JSON RPC support, improves tracing limits, and standardizes transaction indexing behavior for greater reliability across complex block scenarios. Indexer stability has also been strengthened to ensure uninterrupted data availability. Additional improvements include refined dynamic fee routing to the EVM path, enhanced authorization checks, improved gas accounting, and tighter input validation within oracle-related parameters. The release also integrates prior enhancements into the standard binary flow to streamline validator operations and maintain version alignment across the network. Collectively, v1.18.2 improves performance consistency, developer experience, and overall network robustness.
If passed, this proposal will commit the Injective blockchain to halt at a target block height of 157455000 (approximately 14:00 UTC / 10:00 ET on March 9th, 2026) and resume with the v1.18.2 version of the Injective Chain application binary.
