Description

This is a software upgrade proposal for the upgrade to the canonical Injective Chain. If passed, this proposal would commit the Injective Chain to halting the Injective Chain application binary at block height 6159200 (approximately 14:00 UTC on Dec 30th) and starting the new Injective Chain application binary.\n\nMore details can be found in the long form proposal: https://github.com/InjectiveLabs/injective-chain-releases/blob/master/docs/migration/injective-canonical-chain-3.md \n\nThis upgrade proposal adds a a few key improvements:\n\n1) Adding an INJ staking requirement for Trade & Earn rewards greater than 100 INJ for each epoch. This update will cap a trader’s rewards in each epoch beyond 100 INJ to the equivalent amount of staked INJ the trader has. In addition, this staking requirement parameter can be adjusted through governance.\n\n2) Adding a new TradingRewardPointsUpdateProposal which can strictly decrease the reward points for a trader in a given epoch through governance. \n\n3) Filtering extreme values in the oracle module. With this change, oracle prices that are less than 1% or greater than 100x compared to the last price will be ignored, which should prevent impact the impact of irregular price feeds to the exchange. \n\n4) Adding a new MsgBatchUpdateOrders to allow for atomic batch order creations and cancellations, as well as cancelling all orders by market ID. \n\n5) Allowing relayers the ability to send fees directly to the auction module or insurance funds by specifying certain feeRecipientAddresses in orders. This update will give relayers the ability to direct the share of the trading fees they generate to the weekly auction or to insurance funds, as opposed to simply sending to an externally owned account. \n\n5) Upgrading to cosmos-sdk v0.44.5 and ibc-go v2.0.2 \n\n6) Adding minor enhancements to the logic and events emitted in the exchange, oracle and peggy modules.
